Nicole + Tim

dear friends, special day, gorgeous flowers, a night of love and treats

I was so lucky to be able to capture my very dear friends' special day.  It was beyond the perfect day. The weather was warm for October, but it was perfection for their beautiful backyard gathering of friends.  They had so many cute details, gorgeous flowers, and fairy lights everywhere and even a cigar bar.  The best part was seeing such joy and happiness on the faces of two people I love!!

LeAnne + Zack

an adorable couple and rain that could not spoil the day

They say it's good luck if it rains on your wedding day. Honestly, I really don't think this adorable couple needs luck, they have such an amazing connection already. We should all be so lucky.  They had a cute backyard wedding planned, but the weather had other plans that day.  They didn't let it get them down, with lots of people on hand to help, they quickly moved everything inside and ended up still having a wonderful time.  I'm so happy for them!

Meredith + Bryce

brave beautiful couple, special day, beautiful flowers, and beautiful smiles

This beautiful bride had a lot to overcome for their wedding. The pandemic made them change their date and venue, and then it poured on their wedding day.  But they did not let anything ruin their special day.  This wedding in spite of the rain was so sweet and beautiful.  There were the most gorgeous flowers I have ever seen everywhere you could possibly put a flower,  it was breathtaking. And Meredith and Bryce never stopped smiling. They are such a cute happy couple! And bonus, I was finally able to get an amazing bride and groom shot with this cute clear umbrella I got forever ago "just in case"

Carrie + Owen

weather was bad but the ironclad wedding was as fun as it was beautiful

Carrie and Owen's wedding didn't go quite as planned, because the weather didn’t exactly cooperate. They planned to have a garden ceremony at the beautiful Botanical Gardens's in Norfolk. But as the time to walk down the aisle approached, the clouds began to roll in. They did not let that stop them from having an amazing day.. We got some beautiful shots in the tropical garden that had hundreds of beautiful orchids everywhere. The reception was so much fun, all all their guests had a blast.

The Family that owns Ironclad Distillery and their special day.

Liz + Joel

pineapples, pink flamingos, classic wood sided car, on a hot day in july

Joel and LIz had such a beautiful wedding. They had such a cute theme with adorable details, palm leaves, and pineapples, and pink flamingos, complete with a classic wood sided car. It started off as a hot day in July, but right before time to walk down the aisle they were blessed with some nice clouds to block the sun a a small breeze.  Everyone had an amazing time. LIz looked so so beautiful in her gown and the two of them were so cute and happy together.

Jennifer + Dalton

stunning bride, amazing sunset, special shoes

I loved everything about this wedding! The venue was this super cool AirBnB belonging to this amazing retired journalist who's name is Chuck Taylor. He was there to enjoy the festivities with all the guests and to also enjoy his birthday. Coincidentally all the attendants, the bride and groom, and some of the guests wore Chuck Taylor shoes. It was sort of the theme for the night. Jennifer was stunning in her dress. The two of them were so happy and so in love. We got an amazing sunset. Could not ask for anything more.

Kelly + Saulo

made the photographer cry

This wedding was so wonderful. I have never seen a couple more in love. It was ridiculously windy on the beach in Sandbridge, but I think it just made the pictures even more beautiful. Kelly's windswept hair was stunning in my opinion, and I'm quite certain Saulo would agree with me. When I stole them a way for a few minutes to do the formals of the two of them Saulo thanked me for making them kiss so much he said he really needed those kisses. They made me tear up a little if I'm honest. I was so honored to be there to capture all the love they have for each other.

Bobby + Sierra

a stunning bride

This wedding was so perfect and so beautiful and so fun. Bobby is so in love with his stunning bride and was not afraid to show it. Sierra was just glowing the whole day. There was ton of dancing. Sierra even set on the bull in the bar downstairs for their first look which was hilarious. So happy for this amazing couple!!

Lorraine + Andrew

 the groom brought to tears?

This was such a fun beautiful wedding. Lorraine looked so gorgeous in this backless lace dress that not everyone could pull off. But she was stunning. And it may or may not have brought Andrew to tears once or twice. She even surprised him with a special ring during the ceremony that had his fathers plane numbers engraved inside. we finished it off with a fun barcrawl shot of all the guests in front of a local pub with all these great Christmas LIghts. My first time doing a night shot during a wedding, but I think we nailed it.

Mike + Ana Marie

a sweet elopement

I was so honored to be be one of the very few people at this sweet and Romantic elopement ceremony at Yorktown Beach. And this wedding was extra special because This beautiful bride is one of my very dear friends and a fellow photographer.  I just love how happy they both looked on their very special day. It was a little cold this day, but you can't tell at all. we were all just so thrilled to be there for these two watching them make these amazing promises to each other.

Darsey + Brandon

capturing love for the first time

This was one of my very first weddings, and also one of my favorites. I have to say I just love capturing this gorgeous, gorgeous couple. Their chemistry is just so so special. And this wedding was so beautiful. So many special details, and so many awesome guests that were so so happy for them. Darsey looked so stunning in this dress. the whole day was just perfection. I think my favorite part was when I was able to pull the two of them away for just a couple minutes at sunset to get a few more shots of them after they had time to relax and have a few drinks.

Jeff + Cattina

a wedding a hurricane could not spoil

This bride and Groom are so happy and in love that not even a hurricane could ruin their special day. They had to reschedule their wedding the first time due to a hurricane, and even do the honeymoon before the wedding. But looking at these photos you would never know. They were blessed with gorgeous weather when the day finally came around. All their guests had a blast tasting yummy beers and playing jenga and cornhole. Such a fun fun day!
